The land where the Le Quest development will be located was sold under the Government sales program. It attracted a total of 11 bids but the highest bidder was the Qingjian Realty who submitted a bid of $301 million. The development pricing will be around $1,100 per square foot. The price at which the units will be sold is yet to be established but it is expected that the units will be available at a relatively low price since the population density at the Bukit Batok area where the development is located is low. However, the new HDB estates planned to be developed in the area may increase the demand and the prices may be higher. There are many facilities about to be established at the Jurong East Region and hence the price may increase. The details however are yet to be clear.
